Powers that be against Tom Cruise’s new film

August 22, 2007

Various news sources, including The Guardian, are reporting troubling circumstances on the set of Tom Cruise’s new movie, “Valkyrie”:

11 extras were injured when they fell out of a truck. They are now threatening to sue.

The German government has forbidden filming at certain historical sites. It heavily frowns upon the choice of Cruise to portray one its heroes – an army officer who attempted to assassinate Hitler – due to the actor’s involvement in Scientology. For more on Berlin v. Scientology, see this article.

All of this has led to speculation that the film might be cursed, or worse – jinxed.

Unfortunate events or fateful signs of supernatural disapproval? You decide.
